What is a DayCare Kit?

Each kit focuses on a popular theme and includes a variety of learning tools, such as books, cassettes, puppets, videos, puzzles and toys.

Who is eligible to check out a daycare kit?

You may use the Youth Library daycare kits if you are one of the following:

How do I book a daycare kit?

  1. Your library account must be in good standing.
  2. Bookings may be made in person, by phone, mail or online.
  3. Only 1 kit may be borrowed at a time.
  4. Kits circulate for a three-week period.

How do I pick up and return kits?

Kits may be picked up returned at the Youth Library.  Replacement charges for missing or damaged pieces will be assessed according to the currently approved replacement charge list.
