As the Pakachoag Community Music School celebrates its 25th anniversary, students
will perform classical repertoire on various instruments. Borrowing freely from the format
of NPR’s “From the Top,” we also will pry into the students’ lives a bit.
Admission is free.
May 4, 2:30 PM, Virgina Eskin: Music of the Holocaust
Pianist Virgina Eskin returns to Fitchburg with singers Diane Cushing and Gladys Johnsen
to present a multi-media program with images from the Holocaust Museum. The
program includes works by composers who either had fled their homes during the Nazi
invasions or were sent to concentration camps between 1933 and 1945.
Admission is free.
