Buy a Book for Your Library
We need your help!
Because of budget cuts, the Fitchburg Public Library has lost a good portion of its funds for books and other materials (cds, videos, DVDs, etc.) Some of the books we need are new titles, and others are replacements for well-read favorites, like The Lord of the Rings. We're asking patrons who would like to help to purchase books on Amazon.com and they will send us the books. Some titles are as inexpensive as $7.99 and others are, well, more expensive!
What do I do?
If you would like to buy a book for us, you can click on our amazon.com wishlist. You will see our current list, and then you can select a title you would like to purchase. You pay for it with your credit card, and Amazon.com will mail the book to us!
What if I don't like to buy online? Can I still help?
If you don't want to purchase a book over the internet, you can call the Library and find out the titles on our Wishlist.
If you'd like to buy a book and bring it to us you may also do that. Just let us know what you are going to purchase.
If you'd rather donate money, we'd be equally grateful and would use it to purchase materials from the Wish List. Please make checks payable to Trustees of the Fitchburg Public Library.
