Assistive Technology

People with low vision can now use two computers to search the library catalog, use a word processor and have Internet access. The computers are equipped with screen enlarging software and speech access software. The computers are on a special table that can be heightened to accomodate a wheelchair user comfortably.
We also have an Optelec machine that enables you to magnify books or newspapers.

A TTY is available at the reference desk for outgoing calls only.

Both entrances are at ground level and the main entrance has automatic doors.  There is an elevator available in the main building.
