Fitchburg Historical Society - a local non-profit organization that includes a Research Library, archives and artifacts, and rotating exhibits.
The Fitchburg Mosaic - A series of videos created by a partnership of Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg Historical Society and the Fitchburg Public Library, under the guidance of the Fitchburg Mosaic Committee. These tapes were released on VHS format in the mid-1980s. In 2022 they were digitized and uploaded to this YouTube playlist.
Archives of the Fitchburg Sentinel/Sentinel & Enterprise are on microfilm (1839-Present). These are available for public use during any of the library's open hours.
The Raivaaja (Finnish-American newspaper) archives (1905-2009) are available for in-library use in digital form. Please ask at the Information Desk to access. Thanks to the Raivaaja Foundation for completing the digitization of this resource.
