Computers & WiFi

Internet Access, Word Processing, & Printing

The library offers free desktop computers with Microsoft Office software and Internet access to library patrons with a valid C/W MARS library card in good standing. These computers run Windows 10.  An iMac with the full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Acrobat et.al.) is also available.

A library card is not required to use our word processing computer, which cannot access the Internet, but can be used to type and print documents or work with spreadsheets.

We offer guest cards to visitors - so please ask at the reference desk if you need to use the Internet.

Designated Computer Use

Looking for work or to change jobs? We have two additional computers with a dedicated scanner designated for job-hunters. You can sign up for a 2 hour session.

The library has purchased WinWay Resume Builder software that will write and format your resume, and even audit your existing resume for common mistakes.

Resume Builder has been installed on all the Library’s public computers, and can be used free of charge. Bring your Library card and a USB flash drive, or you can email your resume to yourself from the Library. Thanks to Staples for the grant that made this purchase possible.

WiFi is available throughout the building.

The network name is LibraryPublicHotspot - there is no password required for access, but each day you must accept a terms and conditions page after you connect. Open a browser to access this page. If you get an error message, open a different tab to access.  See library staff for help if necessary.

T-Mobile WiFi Hotspot to take home.

Check out a wireless hotspot for two weeks and use the Library’s data plan to stream video while on vacation, or to get your WiFi-only laptop or tablet connected to the Internet from home or anywhere T-Mobile has service.
