This month's film is Scenes from a Parish, a 2009 documentary about an Irish-Catholic parish in Lawrence, Mass. as it comes to terms with its Hispanic neighbors. Join us at 4 p.m. in the Auditorium. Fitchburg State University professor Kevin McCarthy will lead the discussion to follow.
The Next Big Event is our COSPLAY DAY on Saturday, May 3, from 2-5 p.m. Come with your costume, or we'll have fabric, facepaint, posterboard and other items to make one. Call 978-829-1780 to register. This special event is open for ages 10-18.
The Library now hosts a Teen Drop-in Center for ages 13-18. Each Monday and Wednesday afternoon, from 2:30-7:00 p.m., the Teens will transform the Garden Room into their own space for music, crafts, games and snacks. Join the Teen Advisory Board to have your ideas heard!
Celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday, April 23, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. with songs, stories, and percussion in this participatory event with musician Craig Harris. Bring your own drums, too. Mr. Harris will also have copies of his new book The Band: Pioneers of Americana Music for sale.

You can learn Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, and even Sign Language. People who want to improve their English can also use it.
