Join us on Thursday, October 16, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. for a showing of an 1964 movie that takes a quiet, yet powerful look at blacks in the south, starring Ivan Dixon who is dealing with a level of prejudice - self denial- that he has never faced before. This honest and perspective film was directed by Michael Roemer. Mark Melachoir, Fitchburg State University librarian, will introduce the film and lead a short discussion following the screening. Free and open to all.
